Summary:

This is a Constructive Simulation Specialist Systems Administrator position at the Global Simulation Capability, National Simulation Center, Fort Leavenworth, KS in support of the National Simulation Center (NSC) Support Operations (SO) task order under MTCCS II IDIQ. 1 Acord is seeking best qualified individuals for to support this ongoing important mission. Start date: 27 May 2025

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify and quickly troubleshoot problems on federate systems (co-located and at remote sites), RTI infrastructure software, client system software and networking
• Serve as a manager of the JLCCTC Federation and as a communications hub for multiple simultaneous events
• Advise government representatives on technical recommendations and timelines with regards to JLCCTC capabilities
• Ensures all exercise databases are complete, accurate, functional and on time.
• Travel up to 50%.

Required Qualifications:

· Possess a SECRET Security Clearance.

· DoD IAT II Certification (SEC+ and Linux Essentials)

· Be a US Citizen

Desired Qualifications:

· Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines

· At least 2 yrs. hands-on experience with constructive simulation systems used in military training environments, such as JLCCTC, WARSIM, or other relevant platforms; knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects of simulation systems, including SW installation, configuration, and maintenance

· Knowledge of virtualization technologies, cloud services, and network security practices
