We are looking for an experienced IT Administrator / Systems Manager to manage and support our IT infrastructure across multiple locations. This role involves hands-on administration of networking, security, Microsoft 365 (hybrid with on-site AD), Azure-hosted applications, and user support. The ideal candidate will have experience with Fortinet networking, cloud platforms, MDMs, and a solid foundation in Windows environments. Familiarity with industry-specific systems such as OPW, Phoenix, or Veeder-Root fuel management hardware/software is a plus, but not required. This position requires extended availability and occasional travel between facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network & Security Administration: Configure, maintain, and monitor Fortinet firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, and secure network infrastructure connecting multiple locations.
- Microsoft 365 & Active Directory: Administer hybrid environments, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and on-site AD (Group Policy, user accounts).
- Azure Management: Support and manage company software and services hosted on Microsoft Azure, including troubleshooting and coordination with vendors.
- Cloud Phone Systems: Oversee and liaise with NEC Cloud PBX vendor for call center support, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
- Systems Support: Provide advanced support for Windows desktops, laptops, mobile devices (iPhones, tablets), and printers.
- A/V & Vehicle Communications: Maintain onboard Wi-Fi hardware, A/V setups, and communication devices on motorcoaches.
- Backup & Recovery: Oversee and test backups, updates, and disaster recovery plans.
- Mobile Device Management (MDM): Manage Apple Business Manager, Jamf and Samsung Knox for device deployment and security.
- Cybersecurity: Implement patching, endpoint protection, MFA, and monitoring to safeguard company data.
- Industry-Specific Technology: (Preferred) Familiarity with fuel system technologies such as OPW, Phoenix, or Veeder-Root hardware/software for operational support.
- Documentation & IT Projects: Create clear technical documentation and assist in IT infrastructure projects.
- Programming (Optional): Basic PHP, SQL and JavaScript for web tools (a plus, not required).
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of IT administration experience (multi-site environments preferred).
- Proven skills in Windows Server, AD, and hybrid Microsoft 365 environments.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Fortinet firewalls, VPNs (including site-to-site VPNs), and network security appliances.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure environments (hosting, VMs, app services).
- Knowledge of backups, restores, disaster recovery, and endpoint security best practices.
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (Apple Business Manager, Jamf, Knox or Intune).
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Industry-specific technology (OPW, Phoenix, Veeder-Root) experience is a plus but not required.
- PHP or JavaScript knowledge is a plus but not required.
