Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling. This role involves leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to extract insights from complex datasets, enhance decision-making processes, and drive business outcomes. The Data Scientist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable data solutions and contribute to the overall data strategy of the organization.

Duties

  • Analyze large datasets using statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, Spark, and R for predictive analytics.
  • Design and maintain ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accessibility across various systems.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to deploy models into production environments using tools like AWS and Docker.
  • Utilize programming languages such as Python, Java, C, and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and model training.
  • Conduct unsupervised learning techniques to uncover hidden patterns within the data.
  • Engage in data mining activities to extract valuable information from structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Design databases that facilitate efficient data storage and retrieval while ensuring compliance with best practices in database design.
  • Work with big data technologies such as Hadoop to process vast amounts of information effectively.
  • Implement natural language processing (NLP) techniques to analyze text data for sentiment analysis or topic modeling.
  • Utilize analytics tools like Looker for data visualization and reporting purposes.
  • Participate in research initiatives related to quantum engineering and linked data applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in machine learning model development and deployment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Python, R, Java, C, SQL, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell).
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
  • Experience with ETL tools like Talend for efficient data processing workflows.
  • Strong understanding of AI concepts and their application in real-world scenarios.
  • Knowledge of analytics methodologies including statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
