The Role: Senior Systems Administrator
The Senior Systems Administrator will play a critical role in supporting InfoSend’s IT infrastructure, ensuring security, and maintaining compliance standards. This role also involves contributing to system efficiency through proactive problem-solving, process optimization, and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
Monday-Friday 8am-5:00pm
Location: Onsite at our Anaheim Location

Key Responsibilities:
System Administration
- Acquire, install, and configure new hardware and software.
- Monitor, optimize, and maintain system performance and network infrastructure.
- Automate routine tasks and troubleshoot reported issues.
- Perform system audits, backups, and updates (e.g., patches, configurations).
- Oversee documentation for system configurations and processes.
- Administer and improve network security, including firewalls and file systems.
IT Strategy & Operations
- Plan and oversee hardware/software procurement and system integrations.
- Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies.
- Coordinate vendor relationships and manage performance.
- Design, install, and upgrade complex operating systems.
Compliance & Security
- Support internal and external audits (SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA) and develop policies and procedures.
- Conduct vendor due diligence and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.
- Partner with Training and Development Specialist to coordinate employee training on IT security protocols using platforms like KnowBe4.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, reporting, and remediation with IT teams.
Leadership
- Represent Systems Administration in cross-departmental meetings.
- Lead short-term projects that span multiple teams.
- Develop and deliver training materials to team members and end-users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent accreditation in compliance management.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Exchange Server.
- Proficiency in Linux environments (CentOS/Red Hat).
- Expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, etc.) and multi-site networks (VPNs, static routing).
- Experience with virtualization tools (VMware vSphere, Citrix Xen Server) and monitoring tools (Icinga preferred).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.).
- Basic database administration knowledge (MySQL, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Advanced scripting abilities (Bash, Python, PHP, or Ruby).
- Hands-on experience with SOC 2 Type II audits and other compliance standards (PCI, HIPAA).
- Knowledge of system hardening, intrusion detection, and penetration testing.
- Proven ability to develop clear, detailed documentation and policies.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and collaboration skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lead training initiatives and manage projects effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
