Job Overview

IPNS intends to bid on an opportunity with the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division in Philadelphia, PA (NSWCPD). They have a requirement to provide Cybersecurity & Information Assurance Support Services. The period of performance for this effort is 5 years, therefore providing stability to those that are interested. A minimum Secret clearance is required for this solicitation.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is a Department of Defense entity responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support organization for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft and unmanned vehicles. This requirement is for NSWCPD Code 104, which is responsible for Information Technology Operations Division of NSWCPD’s Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E), Navy Marine Corp Intranet (NMCI) Network, Compatibility Test Facility (CTF) networks, closed enclaved networks (supporting CTF) and Business Systems cybersecurity and information assurance support.

NSWC continues to provide the military with the development and integration of warfare systems for the warfighter, warfighting, and the future fleet.

Requirements:

Target Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent science, technology, engineering & mathematics (STEM) degree from an accredited college or university.

Target Experience: Eight (8) years’ experience with writing policies, technical documents, strategic plans, designs, cybersecurity operations and procedures, as well as presenting and explaining those products to executives.

Technical Writing background a plus

Previous Information Security experience.
