UX/UI Designer – Business Web & Mobile Applications
About Us:
CubX is a forward-thinking IT and software services company building powerful web and mobile applications that streamline business operations and enhance user experiences. We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer who is passionate about creating intuitive, polished, and effective application interfaces—not websites. You’ll also support light project management duties alongside our product and engineering teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Design intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces for business-focused web and mobile applications.
- Use tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and Visio to create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and final designs.
- Work closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clean, user-centered designs.
- Conduct user research, feedback sessions, and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions.
- Maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable components.
- Assist with project tracking, timelines, and coordination as part of the broader product delivery effort.
- Stay informed on industry trends and UX/UI best practices, especially in business and productivity applications.
What You Bring:
- A strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI work for business or productivity-focused applications (not marketing websites).
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, Visio.
- Solid understanding of responsive design, mobile-first principles, and user-centered design methodologies.
- Experience conducting usability testing and user interviews.
- Clear communication skills and comfort working in cross-functional teams.
- Organized and proactive, with an interest in supporting project planning and delivery.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience designing applications for workflows, dashboards, or multi-role user experiences.
- Familiarity with agile development processes and tools like Jira or Trello.
