IT Manager – Beaverton, OR | SOC 2 Compliance | 350+ Endpoints
Location: On-Site (Beaverton, OR) | Full-Time | Hybrid Flexibility
Lava Automation is hiring an experienced IT Manager to lead our IT operations, secure our systems, and manage a 5-person Tier 1 & 2 IT team. You’ll oversee 350+ endpoints across a global remote workforce and ensure our infrastructure meets SOC 2 standards for security, availability, and confidentiality.
This role is based in Beaverton, Oregon, with flexibility to support our distributed team across the U.S. and the Philippines.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of 5 IT support staff (Tier 1 & Tier 2)
- Secure and maintain 350+ endpoints (laptops, mobile devices, VOIP phones)
- Ensure full compliance with SOC 2 controls, including asset management, access control, encryption, and incident response
- Administer key systems: HubSpot (core CRM), Keap (legacy use), Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, TurboDial, Monday.com, and LastPass
- Oversee IT support workflows: onboarding/offboarding, provisioning, ticketing, troubleshooting
- Manage software licensing, patching, antivirus, backup systems, and monitoring tools
- Lead internal IT documentation and SOC 2 audit preparation
- Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues and outages
- Work closely with execs, department heads, and remote managers across time zones
What You Bring
- 3+ years in IT management or system administration in a security-conscious environment
- Hands-on experience managing endpoint security and helpdesk operations
- Strong familiarity with SOC 2, NIST, or ISO 27001 frameworks
- Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred), cloud-based tools, and MDM/RMM software
- Solid leadership, project management, and communication skills
- Able to work on-site in Beaverton, OR (with hybrid flexibility)
