Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Systems Manager to lead the design, administration, and optimization of our business systems, with a strong focus on workflow automation, system integration, and user support. This role will manage and maintain key platforms including Procore, Premier Construction Software (PremierCS), Microsoft Office, and Monday.com, ensuring their effective use across departments. You will work cross-functionally to align technology solutions with business needs and continuously improve our digital infrastructure for scalability and efficiency.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Administer, configure, and maintain core business systems, including Procore, Premier, SharePoint. And Microsoft Office.
- Analyze, design, and implement scalable workflows that improve operational efficiency across departments.
- Collaborate with department leads to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and automated workflows.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user training materials.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new software tools, integrations, or enhancements based on company needs and best practices.
- Lead and manage system integration projects, focusing on automation and reducing manual processes and errors.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for system issues, including user training, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
- Monitor system performance, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and proactively suggest and implement improvements.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and software vendors, consultants, or external IT partners.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration, IT systems management, or business systems analysis.
- Strong experience administering and integrating cloud-based platforms (e.g., Procore, Premier, SharePoint).
- Hands-on knowledge of workflow automation, data management, and API-based integrations.
- Background in the construction industry or familiarity with construction-specific software is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate operational needs into effective system solutions.
- Strong documentation and communication skills, including experience in developing user guides and delivering system training.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience with remote device management for on-site teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic scripting or automation skills for system efficiency.
Working Conditions:
- You will be based in the corporate headquarters in Yonkers, New York with some travel to the project worksites.
