How would you contribute?
This role is a contributing member of our Airlite - Omaha team, located in Omaha, NE. As a UKG System Administrator you are a key to continued growth and success of Airlite. The UKG System Administrator role is responsible for ensuring system stability, data integrity, process efficiency, and user adoption across all HR technologies. The UKG System Administrator will collaborate closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure our HR systems align with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and HR best practices. This role will play a key role in the implementation, design, configuration, and maintenance of applicable HR systems.

Essential Duties:
  • Administer and maintain UKG Ready modules (Core HR, Recruiting, Learning, Performance, Onboarding, etc.).
  • Stay current on system release notes and implement new features or functions as appropriate, monitor system updates, enhancements, upgrades, and conduct testing and validation.
  • In the system(s) of record, configure and support system processes related to Human Resources, such as hiring, onboarding, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Manage additional HR systems including, but not limited to, Performance Management systems, Record Retention systems, and System File Feeds.
  • Partner with support departments, such as Finance, IT, HR Teams, etc. to ensure seamless integrations and data flow across platforms.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual work, and improve user experience.
  • Manage and assist with user security roles, permissions, and access controls.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; escalate to vendors when needed.
  • Serve as the primary contact for HRIS and other HR system issues, reporting needs, and requests from all end users.
  • Provide technical support, training, documentation, and end-user support to HR process owners, managers, and employees.
  • Act as a resource for HR technology best practices.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and queries as requested on key HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, compliance, and retention.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity across all HR systems.
  • Maintain HR records in compliance with company policies, data privacy standards, and legal/regulatory requirements.
  • Document system protocols and maintain accurate system records.
  • Promote system adoption and guide teams through process changes and new feature rollouts.
  • Lead cyclical HR activities within HR Systems (performance reviews, goal setting, merit cycles, compliance training, etc.) in partnership with HR process owners.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role does not have personnel supervisory responsibilities; however, this role includes working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.


Education / Experience / Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience administering UKG Ready and/or other HR systems in a global or multi-site organization.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and data governance.
  • Experience managing HR system integrations and system file feeds.
  • Ability to create and maintain HR reports and dashboards (UKG Ready, or similar tools).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hand dexterity to operate office equipment including computer keyboards; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the office work environment is typically quiet; when visiting the production floor, the noise level may be loud.
