Position: SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR II
Salary: $31.82 Per Hour
Department: Water Utilities/Operations and Maintenance
Location: 8100 Forest Hill Boulevard, WPB
Hours: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday – Friday; may be required to work overtime.
Other: Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
Advanced professional and technical work that involves hardware and software systems implementation and/or support. Responsible for supporting departmental computerization which includes analyzing system needs and implementing solutions, administering complex multi-user systems, developing business applications. Provides training and support to co-workers and/or troubleshooting/resolving technical difficulties as they arise.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field; minimum of one (1) year of experience in the support of Local Area Network (LAN)/Server systems, minicomputer-based systems including advanced technology (Electronics, Information Technology, Engineering).
Equivalencies:
1. Unrelated Bachelor’s Degree AND two (2) years of related experience
2. RelatedAssociate's Degree AND three (3) years of related experience
3. Unrelated Associate’s Degree AND four (4) years of related experience
4. Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification AND five (5) years of related experience.
PREFERENCE FOR TWO (2) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN/WITH: Implementation/administration of Microsoft Server, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Storage Area Network (SAN) Management, VMware vCenter, Microsoft SQL server, and backup recovery systems (must specify on application); scripting; software documentation.
