What You’ll Do:
Position manages the installation, maintenance and support of the enterprise computing and network systems. Leads various projects to continually improve the efficiency and security of the IT infrastructure. Position manages Network Engineering and Help Desk employees including scheduling, training and performance reviews.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise Help Desk and Network Engineering employees
- Conduct annual performance reviews of staff
- Train and develop Help Desk staff
- Manage escalation procedures for complex issues
- Install, configure and support servers, networks, voice systems and desktop computers
- Configure and support networking services (RDS, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
- Install and manage data storage systems
- Install and support network infrastructure
- Manage data center power and cooling
- Manage Microsoft Azure and other cloud resources
- Configure and manage system backups
- Provide Windows Active Directory and Group Policy support
- Support software applications (Office 365, Intune, NetSuite, etc.)
- Maintain corporate security standards.
- Document and cross-train in all areas of the infrastructure
- Travel to remote sites when necessary for support
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Windows Server operating systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with enterprise networking (routing, switching, VOIP, SDWAN)
- Familiarity with Linux based operating systems
- Experience with industry standard security methods.
- Experience with Cisco and Velocloud hardware preferred.
- Familiarity with scripting languages.
- Supervisory experience preferred
Education and/or Experience:
- 4-year degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: $113,000-$135,000
