K&L Wine Merchants in San Carlos is actively hiring several Seasonal Warehouse Operations Associate positions who can commit to 40 hours per week or fixed Part-time schedules. The ideal people are reliable, team players who work well with others with a can-do attitude.  Overtime available.

These are typical warehouse logistics roles that are physical and require energy and enthusiasm. You’ll be responsible for supporting our fulfillment warehouse operations with picking and packing orders, palletizing, help loading and unloading, sorting and quality control of packages and orders, among other duties. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• producing boxes for our holiday shipments
• Picking and packing customer orders, accurately and efficiently
• Verify product quality and quality before packaging
• Assist with product receiving, sorting and inventory activities
• Assist with preparing shipments for location transfer or shipping pick-ups
• Safe use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, carts, ladders and other warehouse equipment.
• Help maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Detail oriented and organized
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to load, unload, and operate a hand truck
• Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours each day
• Ability to bend stoop, twist, and kneel frequently
• Ability to load, unload, and operate a hand truck safely
