Information Technology Manager – UTS Systems, LLC

OPPORTUNITY

UTS Systems, LLC is currently seeking applicants for the Information Technology Manager position located at our headquarters in Fairfield, VA. This position will report directly to the Corporate Controller. The Company maintains four facilities: one in Fairfield, VA, two in Fort Walton Beach, FL, and one in Massillon, Ohio.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Information Technology Manager will oversee and manage the monitoring, implementation and compliance of systems, network infrastructures, and information management of the Company. The manager will work closely with each department to ensure adequate IT support from desktops to networks to software management / licensing. The manager will also work closely with accounting to ensure proper an annual budget and capital expenditure plan related to IT equipment and software purchases.

This is a hands-on position with the following responsibilities:

• Running regular checks on network and data security.
• Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
• Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization.
• Designing training / compliance programs and workshops for staff.
• Conducting regular system audits.
• Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff.
• Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages.
• Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget.
• Providing direction for outside IT advisors.
• Management of all desktop and network support.
• Maintain all Company user accounts, software licensing accounts and other related assets.
• Some travel may be required to each of the Company’s facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in progressive information technology roles, including knowledge of:

· Technical management and understanding

· Analyzing information and problem-solving skills

· Data and information management

· Strategic IT planning

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficient in accounting software (ERP) and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree in a computer or information technology related field (desired)

· Five or more years of IT work experience

· Optional product or system certification

Pay: $60,434.16 - $72,780.92 per year
