Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with senior data scientists and cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making processes. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior data scientists to design, develop, and implement machine learning models.
- Conduct data mining and analysis using various tools and techniques.
- Assist in the deployment of models into production environments.
- Work with large datasets utilizing big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
- Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to prepare data for analysis.
- Utilize programming languages such as Python, R, Java, and C for model training and development.
- Engage in unsupervised learning projects to uncover patterns within datasets.
- Design and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance and accessibility.
- Apply natural language processing techniques to analyze text data.
- Utilize analytics tools like Looker for data visualization and reporting.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python, R, Java, and C.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and SAS.
- Familiarity with big data technologies including Hadoop and Spark.
- Understanding of database design principles and SQL for querying databases.
- Knowledge of ETL processes using tools like Talend.
- Experience with model training, deployment, and performance evaluation.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services for scalable computing solutions.
- Exposure to linked data concepts and quantum engineering is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively.
