We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior data scientists to design, develop, and implement machine learning models.
• Conduct data mining and analysis using various tools and techniques.
• Assist in the deployment of models into production environments.
• Work with large datasets utilizing big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to prepare data for analysis.
• Utilize programming languages such as Python, R, Java, and C for model training and development.
• Engage in unsupervised learning projects to uncover patterns within datasets.
• Design and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance and accessibility.
• Apply natural language processing techniques to analyze text data.
• Utilize analytics tools like Looker for data visualization and reporting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages including Python, R, Java, and C.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and SAS.
• Familiarity with big data technologies including Hadoop and Spark.
• Understanding of database design principles and SQL for querying databases.
• Knowledge of ETL processes using tools like Talend.
• Experience with model training, deployment, and performance evaluation.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services for scalable computing solutions.
• Exposure to linked data concepts and quantum engineering is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively.

Pay: $55,547.29 - $110,250.50 per year
