Role: Cloud Infrastructure & Business Applications Engineer

Contract: 6 Months CTH

Location: Fully Onsite, to NYC

This is a Full-time/Permanent Position with our Client (Visa sponsorship is not available for this role)

Our client is seeking a Cloud & Business Application Systems Engineer to support cloud infrastructure and business applications that power trading, clearing, and back-office operations. This role blends cloud engineering, development, and financial systems integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and support Azure/AWS environments for trading and clearing systems.
• Optimize infrastructure for OMS platforms, FIX gateways, trading APIs, and internal applications.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Azure AD, firewalls, VPNs, endpoint security, and co-location servers.
• Develop internal tools, APIs, dashboards, and automation using Python, React, Flask, Power BI, and PowerShell.
• Support databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with CTIO, MSPs, trading, operations, and compliance teams.

Preferred Experience

• Strong Azure/AWS cloud engineering and automation skills.
• Application development experience across Python, APIs, dashboards, and scripting.
• Knowledge of OMS, FIX protocol, trading APIs, and broker-dealer environments.
• Understanding of SEC/FINRA regulatory requirements.
• Strong SQL and database skills.

Preferred Certifications

Azure/AWS Architect, Azure DevOps, Security+, CISSP, CCSP, Terraform, Kubernetes.
