• Location: Austin, TX 78751 (Hybrid)
• Duration: 7+ Months Contract

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer 3 to support application development and operations by designing, automating, and maintaining cloud-native solutions. The role focuses on AWS-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and operational excellence while closely collaborating with development, security, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud-native architectures using AWS services
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to streamline workflows
• Drive automation initiatives to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC)
• 8+ years of experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline)
• 8+ years of Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK stack)
• Proficiency in Linux administration, scripting (Python, Bash), and Git
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with observability tools such as Grafana
• Knowledge of performance tuning and high-availability architectures
• Experience with serverless and event-driven architectures

Work Schedule & Location:

• Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (State holidays excluded)
• Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days remote, 3 days onsite – Monday & Wednesday required onsite)

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour

Experience:

• AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC): 8 years (Preferred)
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI): 8 years (Preferred)
• Docker and Kubernetes: 8 years (Preferred)
