Position: IT Compliance Analyst

Compensation: $30 - $40 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Katy, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT Compliance Analyst to join their team!

Join a dynamic team as an IT Compliance Analyst, where you'll support IT and cybersecurity governance programs. This entry-level opportunity is perfect for detail-oriented individuals who can translate complex technical concepts into simple guidance. Be a part of a collaborative environment, working closely with IT teams to maintain organized, accurate, and user-friendly documentation. This role is open due to the company's growth and commitment to maintaining robust IT compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Create and maintain IT systems documentation
• Translate technical information for diverse audiences
• Assist in drafting IT and cybersecurity policies
• Coordinate evidence for audits and compliance tasks
• Support IT control reviews and vendor security assessments
• Draft internal IT communications and updates
• Develop process maps and visual documentation
• Collaborate with IT teams for information gathering

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in relevant fields
• 0–2 years in GRC, IT compliance, or cybersecurity
• 2–4 years in technical writing or documentation
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong written communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001
• Experience with ITSM/ticketing systems
• Certifications like (ISC)² CC or CompTIA S+
