Job description
IT DIRECTOR Rich Properties | Full-Time | On-Site / Multi-Location | 12 Offices
PRIMARY INITIATIVE — COMPLETE WITHIN 60 DAYS Full Windows-to-Apple ecosystem migration across all 12 locations
Deploy Apple Business Manager + MDM (Jamf / Kandji / Mosyle), procure and image all new Macs, push apps and policies remotely, migrate all user data, and fully decommission Windows — with zero disruption to daily operations. All 12 offices complete within 60 days.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Rich Properties is seeking a strategic and hands-on IT Director to lead and manage the company's full technology infrastructure across all 12 locations. This role owns the entire IT environment — from device and mobile management to physical security systems, VoIP, SaaS subscriptions, and employee onboarding. You'll be equally comfortable setting long-term IT strategy and getting hands-on to configure, deploy, and troubleshoot in the field.
APPLE MIGRATION — KEY DELIVERABLES (60-Day Goal)
- Enroll company in Apple Business Manager and configure MDM platform • Procure, image, and deploy new Mac hardware to all staff across all 12 offices • Push all required business apps, settings, and security policies remotely via MDM • Migrate all user data, files, and workflows from Windows to macOS • Decommission all Windows machines in a structured, documented rollout • Train staff at each location on macOS and all deployed tools
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technology Leadership Own the IT roadmap, make hardware/software decisions, maintain policies and documentation, and report to executive leadership on timelines and budgets.
Apple Device Management Administer ABM and MDM for all enrolled Mac, iPhone, and iPad devices. Push app deployments, OS updates, and security profiles across all locations.
Mobile & VoIP Management Manage company mobile devices (iPhones/iPads) including carrier plans and MDM enrollment. Administer VoIP phone systems across all 12 offices — provisioning, extensions, call routing, and support.
Security Cameras & Physical Security Deploy and manage IP camera systems (Reolink and similar), DVR/NVR systems, and DMS camera management apps across all office locations. Maintain footage retention, access controls, and system health.
Employee Onboarding & Offboarding Own the full IT onboarding experience for all new hires — device setup, account provisioning, app access, and orientation across Google Workspace, VoIP, and all company platforms. Manage clean offboarding and access revocation.
SaaS & Subscription Management Maintain a complete inventory of all software subscriptions and licenses. Manage renewals, cost optimization, user provisioning/deprovisioning, and ensure no orphaned accounts or wasted seats.
Ongoing IT Project Management Continuously plan, scope, and execute new IT initiatives across all locations — infrastructure upgrades, new office buildouts, tool rollouts, and process improvements. Maintain a prioritized IT project backlog and report progress to leadership.
Infrastructure & Operations Oversee network, cloud services, email, and SaaS tools across all 12 offices. Ensure uptime, backup, and disaster recovery at every location.
Vendor & Budget Management Manage Apple, MDM vendors, VoIP providers, camera vendors, ISPs, and tech partners. Negotiate contracts and manage IT budget with a focus on cost-efficiency.
