Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics GP Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the architecture, design, and development of Dynamics GP solutions. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, creating scalable and efficient solutions, and ensuring integration with other systems. This role will also require experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for near future projects. The architect also provides technical leadership, advises on best practices, and ensures the system's long-term maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

· Solution Design: Analyze business requirements to design comprehensive Dynamics GP solutions that align with organizational goals. Design and maintain end-to-end Dynamics 365 solutions across various modules (Customer Engagement, Finance & Operations, Sales, etc.)

· Customization & Configuration: Develop customizations and configure Dynamics GP to meet specific business needs. Ensure custom development (e.g., plugins, workflows, custom entities) aligns with architectural standards.

· Integration: Design and implement integrations with third-party applications, ERPs, CRMs, and other business systems. Future Integration with current ERP system with a cloud solution (Business Central, NetSuite, etc.).

· System Upgrades & Migration: Lead system upgrades, migrations, and platform optimizations to ensure a seamless transition and minimal disruption.

· Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve system performance, security, and scalability.

· Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to developers, analysts, and other team members on Dynamics GP-related projects.

· Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, present solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

· Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and user guides.

· Testing & Deployment: Oversee system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Plan and manage deployments, ensuring minimal business disruption.

· Training & Support: Provide training and ongoing support to users and IT team.

· Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure solutions comply with industry standards, security requirements, and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

· Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Technical Expertise:

o In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP, including modules like Financials, Inventory, Sales, and Purchasing.

o Strong understanding of SQL Server, SQL scripting, and database administration.

o Experience with GP customization tools (Dexterity, Modifier, VBA, eConnect, Integration Manager).

o Experience with Dynamics 365 (Business Central, Sales, Customer Service, Finance & Operations, etc.).

· Integration Experience: Familiarity with integrating Dynamics GP with Power BI, other Microsoft products, and third-party solutions.

· Project Management: Experience in managing Dynamics GP implementation or upgrade projects.

· Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting complex system issues.

· Soft Skills:

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

o Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience

· 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP.

· 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.

· Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and migrations (e.g., Azure).

· Experience with SQL services a plus.

· Certification in Dynamics GP or related Microsoft technologies is a plus.

Work Environment

· Onsite.

· May require occasional travel for on-site project work or training.
