Sr. Systems Administrator

Job Summary:

WGTech is looking for a Sr. Systems Administrator to join our growing team. The Sr. Systems Administrator installs, manages, and supports server, storage, and backup solutions for our customers, utilizing both physical and virtual server infrastructures. This position also installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates, and installs patches, and resolves software related problems. The most important attribute for this role is a dedication to customer satisfaction. Some variation in schedule should be expected, due to customer maintenance windows. This position also requires participation in an on-call rotation and travel to customer sites for project work located in Maine.

Employment Type: This is a full-time position.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience managing Servers, SAN and backup technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server administration and Azure/O365 administration
• Strong experience with VMware virtual infrastructure setup and management
• Experience with enterprise backup applications
• Able to plan, design, implement, and support complex environments
• Able to create and maintain detailed network documentation
• Strong personal and team communication skills
