Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Design experiments to answer domain relevant questions.

2. Execute and master domain specific analytic techniques.

3. Identify and utilize scientific data tools to support research efforts.

4. Analyze data using established statistical methods and deliver accurate, actionable, and timely results.

5. Use and improve established data sources, research alternative data sources when needed. Understand how additional data sources improve integrity, analysis, and modeling.

6. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

7. Understand. Create. Simplify.

8. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

BS STEM

2+ years relevant work experience

Familiar with the scientific method

Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Background check results satisfactory to SEL

Negative drug test result(s)

Preferred Qualifications

M.S. degree in Math, Statistics, or Social Sciences with an emphasis on research, or related field

Experience with data analysis tools

Experience with object orientated programming, Python, C#, C++, Matlab or Java

Experience applying statistical skills in all of the following environments: manufacturing, electronics design or business
