Unified Health Technology, the new standard in the EMR industry, is seeking skilled developers to join our pioneering software engineer team to build the next generation of healthcare medical record tools.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain applications using the Clojure, ClojureScript (re-frame), HTMX, Postgres, FHIR, GCP and related frameworks and technologies
• Implement clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
• Participate in software design and architectural discussions to enhance system reliability and scalability
• Build and maintain APIs, databases, and microservices
• Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
• Write and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability
• Engage in code reviews to uphold high-quality coding standards
• Debug and troubleshoot issues, optimizing system performance where necessary
• Conduct peer code reviews to maintain high code quality and knowledge sharing
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of software development experience, preferably in a SaaS or cloud-based environment
• Proficiency in ClojureScript, re-frame, Shadow CLJS, and related frontend technologies
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with the JVM ecosystem
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong comprehension of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and debugging capabilities.
• Experience with database management and query optimization and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform)
