Job description
UX/UI Designer ( Developer Portal & B2B)
Design intuitive, user-centered experiences for a developer portal and B2B-facing tools. You'll create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma, working closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade interfaces that enable developers across Sony's business units to integrate with platform capabilities.
Core Responsibilities
Design developer portal interfaces, API documentation experiences, and internal tools
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma
Conduct user research with internal developers and business users to understand needs and pain points
Plan, manage, and execute UX research initiatives (user interviews, usability testing, surveys)
Analyze research data and create reports with actionable insights for stakeholders
Collaborate with engineering teams on implementation feasibility and design handoff
Establish and maintain design systems and component libraries in Figma
Present design concepts and research findings to product managers and leadership
Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics
Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and best practices
Partner with technical writers on documentation user experience
Core Skills
5+ years experience in UX/UI design with focus on B2B, enterprise, or developer tools
Expert proficiency in Figma (design, prototyping, component libraries, design systems)
Strong UX research skills (user interviews, usability testing, data analysis)
Experience designing developer portals, API documentation, or technical tools
Understanding of front-end development constraints (React, responsive design, web standards)
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into intuitive interfaces
Strong visual design skills with attention to detail
Experience working in agile/scrum environments
Excellent presentation and stakeholder communication skills
Portfolio demonstrating B2B/enterprise/developer tool design work
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with design systems at scale
Familiarity with API design and developer experience best practices
Background in gaming, entertainment, or platform products
Knowledge of HTML/CSS (ability to prototype in code)
Experience with user analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
Previous work with multi-tenant or marketplace platforms

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
