Software Developer
We are seeking a Software Developer to design, build, and support innovative software solutions that drive business success. In this role, you will work both independently and collaboratively to understand requirements, design and implement applications, and continuously enhance existing systems. You will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of technologies while developing both your business and technical expertise.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical
- Deliver high-quality, fully tested solutions on time and aligned with business requirements and IS standards.
- Design, develop, test, and implement software applications and integrations.
- Create and maintain technical design documentation.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and solution evaluations.
- Work with vendors to implement solutions, resolve defects, and apply enhancements.
- Provide accurate task estimates and proactively communicate project status, risks, and issues.
- Support production systems, including 24x7 on-call coverage as needed.
Functional
- Understand and document business and technical process flows.
- Gather and analyze requirements in collaboration with Business Analysts and stakeholders.
- Translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions.
Leadership & Strategic
- Partner with business leaders to transform ideas into solutions that optimize processes and systems.
- Define and implement technical architecture vision and standards.
- Research and introduce new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
- Lead project teams to ensure solutions meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Mentor and motivate team members while supporting recruitment efforts.
- Provide performance feedback and manage external consultants/contractors.
- Demonstrate commitment to personal growth and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Quality standards, interpret customer requirements, and implement corrective actions when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in application development with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Prior experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or food production environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of full-stack development, including:
- Oracle PL/SQL (stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages).
- React.js for front-end applications.
- AWS services for backend infrastructure and deployment.
- Exposure to Python (FastAPI framework) for backend services.
- Ability to influence, lead, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated initiative, strong prioritization, and results-driven decision-making skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $133,000.00 per year
