Job Summary:

Renaissance Services operates the “Rapid Cast Part – Center of Excellence” where it provides small quantities of parts made from castings for sustaining legacy systems as well as new development. The customers include the US Air Force as well as the aerospace prime contractors.

As part of providing rapid cast parts, Renaissance addresses three key areas:

  • Reverse Engineering – Renaissance takes legacy parts that lack design data and creates the technical data package, including models, drawings, and specifications.
  • Additive Manufacturing - Renaissance uses ceramic additive manufacturing to create casting molds, greatly reducing the time and cost to create small quantities of castings.
  • Supply Chain Production – Renaissance works with its rapid casting network of multiple foundries and machining suppliers to produce the small quantity of parts.

Position summary

The IT/ERP Manager owns Microsoft Business Central ERP and related Microsoft 365 tools (Power Automate, Power BI, Teams, Office, etc.) and ensures they effectively support our small manufacturing company. This role focuses on business process improvement, reporting, and integration while coordinating day to day infrastructure and help desk needs with an existing IT managed service provider. This position reports to the Director of Operations. Must be current US citizen.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as Business Central system owner: security/permissions, configuration, master data, and change control for ~20 users across operations, supply chain, and finance.
  • Act as internal super user for Business Central, supporting users, resolving functional issues, and organizing short targeted training sessions.
  • Work with Operations, Supply Chain, Accounting to streamline order to cash, procure to pay, inventory, and production workflows in Business Central.
  • Design and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI using Business Central, Excel, and other data sources to provide visibility into inventory, production, and financial KPIs.
  • Build and maintain low code automations using Power Automate (e.g., approvals, alerts, document routing, and notifications tied to Business Central events).
  • Administer and organize Teams and CUI file shares that support collaboration around orders, projects, engineering changes, and quality documentation.
  • Coordinate with the MSP for user provisioning, endpoint management, backups, network connectivity, and cybersecurity services; monitor ticket queues and escalate critical issues.
  • Maintain concise documentation: configuration notes, data flows, SOPs, and a simple change log for Business Central and key automations.

Required qualifications

  • BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience in IT/ERP roles.
  • 3–5 years of experience administering or supporting an ERP in a small or mid size manufacturing company, including hands on work with sales, manufacturing, purchasing, and accounting modules.
  • Direct experience with Microsoft Business Central (or similar ERP) in a system administrator, super user, or implementation role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Power BI (data modeling, report creation, and publishing) and Power Automate (flows triggered by email, Teams, or Business Central events).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration concepts, especially Teams, Outlook, and basic security/permissions for small organizations.
  • Must be current US citizen.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in discrete manufacturing with BOMs, routings, work centers, capacity, and shop floor reporting.
  • Experience working in an environment where infrastructure and help desk are provided by an external MSP.
  • Experience with cybersecurity, security groups, MFA, and compliance features (Purview, Intune, etc.) within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
