Job Overview
Diagnostic Imaging Associates provides comprehensive radiology solutions for imaging centers, clinics, and hospitals. We are currently in need of a Clinical Applications Manager and Systems Engineer. The ideal candidate must live in the STATE OF OKLAHOMA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in after-hours IT on-call rotation.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for clinical staff on Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), medical imaging software, and other clinical applications.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions, both in-person and virtual.
  • Create training materials, user guides, and e-learning content tailored for PACS and medical imaging applications.
  • Provide post-training support and assistance to ensure user proficiency.
  • Assess user competency and recommend additional training as needed.
  • Applications would include the following: eUnity (Image Viewer), DIARIS, Pet Software (MIM), Breast MRI (DynaCAD).
  • Implement, configure, and maintain clinical applications and systems.
  • Work closely with IT and healthcare teams to ensure seamless integration of clinical software with existing infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors for system updates and enhancements.
  • Assist in system testing, validation, and deployment of new software solutions.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and other security standards.
  • Manage server hardware, networking, and storage solutions to support clinical applications.
  • Ensure optimal performance and security of IT infrastructure supporting PACS and imaging systems.
  • Provide technical support for hardware and network-related issues impacting clinical applications.
  • Liaise between clinical staff, IT, and vendors to identify system improvement opportunities.
  • Gather user feedback to enhance application functionality and workflow efficiency.
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and implementation projects.
  • Document procedures, best practices, and system configurations.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and Administration to ensure privacy and safety of patient information.
  • Comply with all HIPAA laws and regulations related to electronic management of medical information.
  • Assist other IT personnel when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by Administrator or Medical Director

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
  • AI experience, specifically with implementing or utilizing large language models within a company.
  • Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills.
  • Linux and Python support a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical application training, healthcare IT, or systems engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of PACS, medical imaging software, and other clinical applications.
  • Experience with system implementation, troubleshooting, and integration in a healthcare environment.
  • Expertise in server hardware, networking, and IT infrastructure management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training and technical support.
  • Ability to analyze and improve workflows in clinical settings.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
