Role Overview:

We are seeking a Sr. Network engineer who will join our project team to focus on implementing campus & data center switching solutions for our customers. Customers would be primarily colleges & universities, hospitals, enterprises & K-12 school districts.

While campus & data center switching is the primary focus, opportunities for deploying wireless, NAC, SD-WAN, SSE, Firewalls and other network technologies will be available based on skillset and interest.

Responsibilities:

- Implement HPE Aruba & Juniper switching solutions for both campus access, campus core and data center.

- Work alongside customer engineering teams in various capacities during projects.

- Act as an escalation point for our support team.

- Continually expand knowledge on latest technologies via training and lab time with Laketec provided equipment.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a network engineering role.

- 5+ Years Experience deploying and/or managing complex switching solutions.

- Experience with fabric technologies including VXLAN & EVPN.

- Experience with switching platforms including Aruba OS-CX, Juniper JUNOS, Arista EOS, Cisco IOS, Cisco NX-OS or equivalent.

- Industry certifications from HPE Aruba, Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Extreme (e.g., ACSP, ACSX, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) or equivalent.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
