Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect

HOW A CLOUD SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Providing in-depth knowledge in areas of requirements elicitation, stakeholder engagement, application design, programming, testing, documentation, implementation, maintenance, and management.

Research, analyze, and evaluate existing and proposed business systems and procedures.

Ensure that requirements are met and deliverable products comply with the CIO architecture and business needs.

Develop requirements and identify system solutions in detailed measurable terms that achieve optimum performance and cost effectiveness.

Writing architecture assessment documents.

Understanding of scripting or coding skills, or tools (e.g., shell, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, or Puppet).

Creation and submittal of reports, analysis, advice, studies, alternatives, evaluations, models, and/or similar documents
Required Experience:

15+ years of hands-on experience
Education:
-
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent experience - not required.
Required skills:
-
Strong proficiency in technical illustration using tools such as draw.io, Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint.

Have practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Anthropic, agentic AI approaches.

Must have current hands-on experience implementing cloud technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization.

Expert knowledge of cloud services from one or more of the primary Cloud Service Providers (CSPs)(Amazon, Microsoft or Google), and the ability to integrate cloud services with on-premises technologies such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, Linux, SAP, etc.

Exhibit high level of technical competence in using operating environments, tools, and technologies commonly used in best-practice solution architectures.

Strong communication skills including writing and presentation skills.

Be able to develop technical briefings and present to leadership.
