Job description

We are looking for a proven leader to serve as our Sr. Manager, IT Data Management, driving the strategic direction, implementation, and governance of our data technology platforms. This role requires a strong manager who can lead teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure that our data infrastructure supports strategic, data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with leadership skills to build and maintain a high-performing data environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Lead and manage the Data Management team, setting direction, priorities, and performance expectations.
  • Develop and execute a long-term data technology strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Drive governance and compliance, ensuring data security, integrity, and regulatory adherence.
  • Champion innovation, keeping the organization at the forefront of emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with leaders across the organization, translating business needs into scalable and effective data solutions.

Technology Oversight:

  • Oversee enterprise data platforms.
  • Enforce data security and privacy best practices, ensuring compliance.
  • Manage API development and data integration to enable seamless and secure system connectivity.
  • Oversee deployment pipelines, cloud cost management, and system optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in data management, analytics, business intelligence, or related field required.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Extensive practical expertise with leading cloud data platforms, such as Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Deep proficiency in using, developing, and configuring Snowflake Data Warehouse. Experience with PostgreSQL and DB2 a plus.
  • Experience with API and Integration Development Concept strongly preferred.
  • Highly developed skills in project and portfolio management, along with strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to build relationships, collaborate effectively, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive learner who actively seeks development opportunities and values diverse perspectives, feedback, and new ideas.
  • Capable of working independently and within a team, with strong leadership abilities in areas such as change management, fostering collaboration, developing talent, and driving organizational vision.

This role requires a strong manager who can not only oversee technology but also lead teams, drive strategy, and collaborate with executives to maximize the impact of data-driven decision making.
