Jr. Systems Administrator
REPORTS TO: IT Administrator
CLASSIFICATION: Full Time
SCHEDULE: Monday thru Friday
LOCATION: On-Site Hamilton, MO
JOB SUMMARY: As a junior systems administrator, you will be responsible for configuring user accounts, permissions, and passwords. Installing, configuring and maintaining the company’s various computers systems, applications and firewall. This includes system and application upgrades, updates and patches. Responsible for securing company data and other resources and ensuring data availability and disaster recovery.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide end-user support.
Administer, install, and troubleshoot a variety of operating systems.
Assist with system maintenance tasks such as system back-up, recovery, and file maintenance.
Configure software and resolve technical problems.
Manage user accounts.
Onboarding and offboarding users.
On-call Rotation.
Perform system maintenance activities.
Perform basic networking troubleshooting and support.
Maintain MDM profiles.
Demonstrate basic understanding of ITIL and security/compliance principles.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Computer Science preferred or related IT work experience required.
2-4 Yrs of progressive knowledge, responsible and skilled experience in systems and networking.
Basic knowledge of networks & troubleshooting network problems. (DNS, DHCP, routing)
Basic hardware knowledge (server, networking).
Knowledge of backup, restore & recovery procedures.
Good understanding of permissions & user management.
Good knowledge of (desktop, laptop, tablet, handheld devices)
NetSuite and Deposco experience desired
MS Entra (Azure) desired

Good written (documentation) and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy.
Able to work well with others and demonstrates excellent quality of work with little to no supervision required.
Must be highly organized.
Good customer service skills.
Able to organize, work, establish priorities, meet established deadlines, and follow up on assignments with minimal direction.
Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees.
Able to solve problems quickly.
Works well alone or on a team.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires walking, bending, lifting, kneeling, and reaching over-head
Able to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds
