We are looking for a talented and dedicated IT Systems Administrator to help support and maintain our IT infrastructure and systems. As an IT Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, supporting and enhancing the Credit Union's IT Systems, including servers, networks and applications. As part of the IT Department, you will assist in ensuring the security, reliability and efficiency of all IT Systems, working closely with other departments to meet the Credit Union's technology needs.
<Duties>
- Provide ongoing support for the company's network, including, but not limited to: PC/LAN servers, WAN and VPN links. This support requires the planning, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting of network and system hardware and software.
- Provide necessary troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs of PCs, printers, terminals, peripherals, etc., coordinating with technical support and vendors as necessary.
- Provide ongoing support to all Credit Union staff in the use of end-user hardware and software products.
- Install end-user hardware and PC software as needed; ensure Credit Union employees know how to care for and maintain terminals, printers and PCs and understand procedures for data backup, network access, etc.
- Participate in short and long-range planning for the IT Department to select and utilize appropriate technologies to meet the evolving needs of the Credit Union and its members.
- Ensure proper documentation of critical work flows and processes are maintained.
- Provide administrative control over the end-user hardware and software assets of the Credit Union, as well as related supplies and accessories, through the maintenance and monitoring of user databases, inventories, files, logs, etc.
<Requirements>
- Three to five years of related experience.
- (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through experience in roles such as network administrator or server administrator and/or an apprenticeship program.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $66,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year
