We are looking for a Web Developer specializing in WordPress to lead the development and management of our digital platforms. While your core expertise will be in WordPress development, experience with React and AI integration is a significant advantage. You’ll work closely with designers, product managers, and data scientists to deliver fast, responsive, and intelligent user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins.
- Ensure all WordPress sites are optimized for performance, scalability, and mobile responsiveness.
- Collaborate with the team to implement AI-driven features into WordPress or standalone web applications.
- Build and manage React-based front-end components where needed, especially for dynamic or AI-enhanced elements.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure clean, maintainable code across all projects.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and support back-end services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve site functionality issues quickly and effectively.
- Stay current with best practices in WordPress development, modern web technologies, and AI trends.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of custom sites, themes, and plugins.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress Codex standards.
- Experience with React for developing custom features or standalone applications.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and integration of AI features into front-end experiences.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party service integrations.
- Proficiency with front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).
- Solid version control experience (e.g., Git).
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with WooCommerce, ACF, or custom post types.
- Familiarity with Python and AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Knowledge of GraphQL, Redux, or other advanced front-end frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Background in Fintech, B2B SaaS, or regulated industries.
- Understanding of UI/UX best practices and data visualization tools (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js).
Note: This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Compensation:
The payment range for this position may vary based on factors such as experience, education, and additional responsibilities.
Pay for this role is up to $2,500 a week based on experience
