CTG is seeking to fill a PostgreSQL Database Administrator position for our client.

Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months

Overview / Duties:

• Administer PostgreSQL databases: install, configure, upgrade, monitor, and tune performance.
• Manage backups, recovery, security, and user access.
• Troubleshoot database issues and automate routine DBA tasks.
• Plan and execute database migrations and upgrades.
• Support disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams.
• Provide AKS administration support, including networking, ingress/egress, network policies, Helm deployments, Istio service mesh, and image integrity tools (e.g., Ratify).

Required Skills:

• PostgreSQL (critical): administration, performance tuning, backup/recovery, security.
• AKS/Kubernetes: networking (CNI/Kubenet/Overlay), ingress/egress, network policies, Helm, Istio.

Experience:

• 5+ years PostgreSQL database administration experience.
• Experience supporting databases in cloud and Kubernetes environments preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
