We are seeking an IT professional who will be focused on supporting employees with day-to-day technology needs, ensuring equipment is functioning properly, and coordinating with IT Consultant to resolve more complex technical matters. The Specialist plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and educating staff on proper use of system and software.

Responsibilities
Employee Technology Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal IT questions and user-related issues.
- Respond to IT issues; hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc.
- Provide helpdesk and technical support either by phone, remote access, or site visits.
- Under the direction of the IT Consultant, sets up equipment for new users & employees, and sets up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (desktops, mouse, keyboards, routers, printers, etc.).
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
- Sets up users on PCS, keycard system, Zoom, etc.
- Troubleshoot software and equipment, including printers and copiers; keeping them stocked with paper and in working order. Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair and/or replace parts, debugging, etc.).
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance, ensuring minimal disruptions.
- Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality on a semi-annual basis (End of Quarter 2 and Quarter 4).
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes, and maintenance schedule.
- Under the direction of the CFO/Firm Administrator maintains equipment & inventory including:
- Maintains and updates firm systems logs and equipment inventory.
- Ensures oversight of warranties and determines extendibility of warranties.
- Identifies computer or network equipment shortages and places orders.
- Coordinates with Admin Assistant on all office equipment.
WHAT YOU BRING
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a technical support, helpdesk, administrative, or customer-facing role.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems quickly.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to serve as the IT Liaison to manage employee’s IT issues and provide orientation and guidance.
- Ability to organize and schedule upgrades/maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
- Knowledge of setting up workstations, installing/configuring software and maintaining peripheral devices (printers, copiers, routers, etc)
- Ability to maintain systems logs and equipment inventory
Education
- Bachelor's degree.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
