Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Information Technology to lead our IT department and drive the strategic direction of our technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of network infrastructure, virtualization, and business continuity planning, along with the ability to manage complex IT projects. This role requires a visionary leader who can effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while ensuring the integrity and security of our information systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Oversee the management of network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Lead virtualization efforts to enhance system efficiency and resource utilization.
- Manage APIs to facilitate seamless integration between various software applications.
- Design and execute business continuity planning to minimize downtime during disruptions.
- Administer databases and data warehouses, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and provide solutions.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices in information technology.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an IT leadership role, preferably as a Director or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies and network infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with APIs, MPLS, DNS, databases, and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully managing complex IT projects.
- Ability to vaticinate future technology trends and their potential impact on the organization.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
