Job Description:
We are seeking a professional responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the company’s technological infrastructure, including networks, servers, computer equipment, hardware, and corporate software..
Essential Duties:
- Administer, maintain, and design the company’s technological infrastructure (LAN/WAN networks, servers, desktops, laptops, and mobile devices).
- Monitor network and system performance to ensure availability, stability, and security.
- Ensure data integrity and security.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with security policies.
- Apply security patches and critical updates to protect the infrastructure.
- Perform backups (data backups of the most important information).
- Document configurations, procedures, incidents, and technical solutions.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized support, licensing, or technology acquisitions.
- Ensure compliance with internal IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
- Participate in technology improvement, expansion, or infrastructure upgrade projects.
- Manage and maintain network equipment, wireless networks, and firewalls.
- Install, configure, and update hardware, software, and operating systems.
General Duties:
- Perform upgrades, equipment configuration, and computer repairs as needed.
- Provide recommendations for equipment based on needs.
- Manage the telephone system.
- Purchase equipment or systems as required and maintain inventory.
- Participate in meetings, assigned work committees, and professional activities as required.
- Attend workshops, seminars, or conferences for professional development as recommended.
- Perform other clerical tasks as assigned, such as filing, collating, or photocopying documents, among others.
- Prepare periodic reports as required or previously established.
- Collaborate with other areas or departments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with the Employee Handbook and any other directives, whether verbal or written.
- Perform any other tasks or functions related to business processes aligned with the position as required.
- Participate in the rotation of operational support outside regular working hours.
