Senior DevOps Architect
Arlington, MA (hybrid)
Direct Hire, Permanent
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our AWS-based infrastructure. This role is critical to advancing the digital transformation and automation initiatives. You will be a key contributor to building scalable, secure, and resilient systems that support our next stage of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code (30%): Design and manage infrastructure using Terraform to ensure scalability, reliability, and consistency.
- Monitoring & Alerting (15%): Implement proactive monitoring and alerting solutions to maintain system performance and security.
- Integration (15%): Ensure seamless integration between databases, APIs, and applications for efficient data flow.
- CI/CD (15%): Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software, firmware, and mobile applications.
- Documentation (15%): Develop and maintain technical documentation, best practices, and knowledge base articles.
- Support & Incident Management (10%): Act as a point of contact for DevOps-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and mitigate incidents.
Qualifications
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (or equivalent certification).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure development with deep expertise in AWS.
- Proven experience designing and managing AWS infrastructure at scale.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, containerization, and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Familiarity with Functions as a Service (FaaS) workloads.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.
