Job Overview
Under the direction of the VP-IT, this position will oversee the day to day IT operations team to maintain all internal aspects of the network, servers, computers, and network security for the company.

Duties

  • Analyze department needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure network components meet needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions.
  • Continuously analyze the current process, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement.
  • Prepare cost-benefit analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, continuously analyzing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for the company's needs.
  • Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed.
  • Develop and execute disaster procedures, and maintain data backups.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including stakeholder identification, project deliverables, goals, milestones, budgets, communication strategies, and risk mitigation plans to ensure projects are on track and within budget.
  • Define project requirements and oversee lifecycle deployment, coordinating resources, establishing governance structures, and developing and executing communication plans.
  • Assist the VP-IT in monthly board meeting reports with metrics of current IT projects, Helpdesk statistics, Network Health Management, and new IT purchases.
  • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software.
  • Own IT projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative.
  • Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software.
  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
