We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer Consultant to join our dynamic team, where security, development, and operations converge to create seamless, secure, and scalable systems. In this role, you will integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline, automating processes to enhance the overall security posture while ensuring the rapid, reliable delivery of software. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of security frameworks, DevOps methodologies, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines, along with a passion for building secure, efficient systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This is a part-time consulting position initially that has the potential to evolve into a full-time role. The nature of the work will require the ability to work both remotely and as part of a project team based in McLean, VA. Due to contract requirements, US Citizenship is required for consideration for this position.
Required Skills:
Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline development.
Experience managing CI/CD pipelines in an AWS environment.
Ability to integrate static code analysis tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Engineering support will be required to containerize multiple applications simultaneously per migration wave through the contract period of performance.
Familiarity with JAVA, Python and PHP languages.
Experience creating release documentation (release notes, version description documents, architecture diagrams, etc.) in a US federal contracting environment, preferably within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or one of its subordinate agencies like the United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS).
