Job Summary
We are seeking for an experienced InstallShield Build Engineer who will own the entire CI/CD ecosystem for enterprise Windows desktop applications built on the .NET stack, ensuring consistent, repeatable, and high‑quality builds and releases. This role is ideal for hands-on build engineer who enjoys owning the full lifecycle of .NET Windows builds—from commit to signed installer— and works closely with developers and QA, ensuring high-quality bug fixes and stable .NET 8 Windows builds.

Core Responsibilities

• Create dataset, build, implement, code signing, installer creation and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for .NET framework and .NET Core Windows desktop solutions (e.g., WPF Prism, Blazor Hybrid).
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to triage and resolve build failures, configuration drifts, and dependency issues quickly.
• Create an optimized automated build process and maintain clear documentation for pipelines, build scripts, branching policies, and release procedures for internal teams.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years in build engineering using InstallShield supporting .NET Windows desktop applications in an enterprise setting.
• Strong experience with InstallShield, InstallScript, and Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts; and pipelines).
• Hands-on experience with Git branching and pull request workflows, including policies and code review integration.
• Experience building and deploying Windows desktop installers and managing app configuration.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for build pipelines and environment-related failures.
• Experience in C# .NET Windows environment with debugging and resolving software defects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Exposure to test automation integration (e.g., UI test suites, smoke tests) triggered from CI/CD.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging for deployed desktop and server components using Application Insights or similar tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
