About Our Client
Our client unlocks the potential of AI/ML and Generative AI technologies - prototyping, refining, validating, and scaling impactful products and solutions across enterprises rapidly for clients across industries.
They are seeking a full-time, salaried Principal AI & Data Architect to define and drive enterprise AI and data strategy, delivering scalable, secure, and high-impact AI/ML solutions across cloud and edge environments.
What You Will Get To Do
You will set architecture standards, guide data strategy, and enable cross-functional teams to build innovative AI products while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of AI/ML architectures, data platforms, and analytics solutions.
- Define standards, best practices, and frameworks for scalable AI and data solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to align AI solutions with organizational goals.
- Drive adoption of AI/ML technologies, LLMs, and advanced analytics.
- Ensure AI and data solutions meet security, compliance, and governance requirements.
- Mentor technical teams and promote knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Integrate data pipelines across SAP (S/4HANA, BW, Datasphere), Microsoft Dynamics, PLM systems (e.g., Aras), and cloud platforms.
- Embed privacy, security, and compliance controls, including encryption, access governance, and audit trails.
- Leverage Generative AI, Copilot integrations, and prompt engineering for productivity and automation.
What You Bring To The Team
Required Qualifications:
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in data architecture, AI/ML engineering, and AI platform development.
- 5+ years of consulting experience.
- Proven track record delivering production-grade AI/ML solutions in cloud and/or edge environments.
- Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Snowflake, MLflow, Kubernetes, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI, Power BI, and DevOps services.
- Preferred advanced degrees or certifications in AI, ML, Data Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or Enterprise Solution Architecture.
- Relevant certifications may include: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate, AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, Databricks Certified Data Engineer.
- Deep expertise in AI/ML model development, MLOps, model lifecycle management, and responsible AI (explainability, bias mitigation, auditability).
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP).
- Expertise in AI governance, data security, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills.
- Can reside anywhere within the U.S. (Eastern time zone preferred); however, must be open to travel to client location as needed.
- Currently authorized to work for any employer within the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Generative AI, agentic AI, or autonomous systems.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI platforms (OpenAI, Azure AI, Google Vertex AI) and secure data architectures.
- Track record of operationalizing AI and data solutions in enterprise environments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
