Director of Information Systems
Centerburg, Ohio

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospital Administration, or Information Technology (Master’s preferred)

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in system administration or information systems management

  • Prior experience administering Microsoft SQL Server

  • Experience managing a technical or operational team

  • Strong knowledge of hospital and ambulatory EMR/EHR environments

  • Familiarity with regulatory standards such as Joint Commission, HIPAA, and Meaningful Use

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills

  • Ability to coach, mentor, and lead technical staff

Hours & Compensation:

  • Full-time, day shift

  • Competitive salary: $110K–$140K, depending on experience

  • Full benefits package

  • Relocation reimbursement up to $5,000 with receipts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all technological and non-clinical support operations within the Information Systems (IS) Department

  • Lead and manage Helpdesk Technicians, Network Engineer, Server Administrator, Applications Administrators, Programmer Analyst, Interface Administrator, IS Specialist, and Telecommunications Specialist

  • Plan, coordinate, and direct IS projects, including infrastructure development, strategic planning, and policy implementation

  • Prioritize and execute multiple projects within time constraints while maintaining quality standards

  • Develop long-term plans, programs, and initiatives to improve departmental performance and efficiency

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintain documentation to meet standards

  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for IS staff

  • Serve as a progressive leader capable of initiating and managing change

  • Support ongoing improvement of EMR/EHR environments and other hospital IT systems

  • Assist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and documentation for the department
