Position Description:

Owl Hollow Farm is a beautiful 120-acre property in Floyd, VA, offering a peaceful and well-maintained environment. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the property’s main residence. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness as needed
• Clean windows periodically
• Change bed linens and do laundry as needed
• Organize and maintain a tidy home environment
• Handle occasional deep-cleaning tasks
• Monitor cleaning supplies and restock as necessary
• Report any maintenance or repair needs and help with repairs if proficient enough
• Clean the break room, vet room, tack room, food room and tool room in the main barn
• Assist with other farm activities as instructed by the owner

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience
• Previous farm experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Must have reliable transportation to the property
• Weekend availability required
• Must be able to lift 70+ lbs
• Must be reliable and strictly adhere to a schedule
