Osmose is seeking a Cloud Architect for our in office Atlanta, GA or Newnan GA office
As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions on Microsoft’s Azure platform. You will collaborate with technical and business teams to understand requirements, analyze current infrastructure, and recommend cloud solutions that align with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable software architectures that meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and project scope.
- Lead the development lifecycle from concept through deployment, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Evaluate and integrate cloud-based solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality standards in software development.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
- Document architectural decisions and maintain comprehensive system documentation.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of cloud-based technologies and architectures.
- Infrastructure Experience: Familiarity with cloud infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Methodologies: Knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certifications: Professional certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect, are desirable.
