We’re currently seeking a Software Integration Engineer to support a high-impact government program based in Sterling, VA. This is an onsite position requiring an active TS/SCI clearance.

Job Responsibilities

As a Software Integration Engineer, you will:

• Integrate and test multiple software subsystems and external systems

• Identify and resolve issues related to data exchanges, usability, functionality, security, and vulnerabilities

• Develop automated tests and test utilities to ensure system stability and compliance

• Deploy and manage containerized software using technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, HELM, and Podman

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features

• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all software development and testing activities

• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in software integration and testing

Required Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing, or supporting cloud-native container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Istio, HELM, Podman, Docker)

• Proficiency with Python, testing frameworks like Pytest, Linux shell scripting, and CLI tools (e.g., grep, awk, sed, ssh, scp)

• Familiarity with automation pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Artifactory)

• Experience developing test threads, test cases, and procedures for SWIT and/or SIT environments

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience

• Active and transferable TS/SCI clearance

• U.S. citizenship (required for clearance eligibility)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tools like Swagger, Cameo, Apache NiFi

• Familiarity with Kafka and REST API development

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
