Job description

Location: Lexington, MA (on-site position, flexible work hours but no hybrid option)

Summary: We are seeking a motivated and talented .NET / C# Developer to join our dynamic robotics team. Although our projects typically involve mobile robotics and sensor networks, this particular role is developing software for .NET / C# applications that operate on computers onboard satellites. US Citizenship is required per government requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, integrate and test .NET and C# application frameworks and applications onboard satellite computers
  • Develop software for user interfaces for robotics systems.
  • Collaborate with team on system requirements and allocation to software requirements
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Document designs with product-level documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal government contract regulations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • In-depth understanding of software development patterns and architectures
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong desire to learn new skills and abilities
  • Excellent verbal communication, organization and written documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with robotics software, platforms and systems.
