Job Summary
We’re hiring a Senior Data Engineer / Data Scientist with deep telecom experience across 4G/5G and WiFi. This role drives data engineering, geospatial analytics, and large-scale ETL development for a major telecom client. Candidates must be able to handle complex datasets, build scalable pipelines, and communicate insights to both technical and executive teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and analytics work across telecom datasets, including 4G/5G, WiFi, RF, and network performance data.
• Develop, optimize, and automate ETL pipelines using Python, SQL, and modern data tooling.
• Build and maintain geospatial models and mapping assets for network planning and performance analytics.
• Manage and analyze large datasets in Postgres, AWS, and other Big Data environments.
• Design and enhance Alteryx workflows; provide expertise on process improvements.
• Create dashboards and present insights to technical and leadership stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to support network strategy and business decisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of telecom experience with strong 4G/5G and WiFi knowledge.
• 10+ years in data engineering or data science working with large datasets.
• 5+ years of hands-on Alteryx experience (Advanced/Expert certification preferred).
• Strong background with geospatial datasets and spatial analytics.
• Experience with Big Data platforms (Postgres, AWS, etc.).
• Proven ETL and pipeline development skills (Python, SQL).
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Bachelor’s required; Master’s preferred.
• Must reside in the Denver metro area.
