Cloud Security Architect (GCP)

About the Role
At NETbuilder, we’re seeking a Cloud Security Architect with deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform to design and implement secure, compliant, and resilient cloud solutions for our clients.
You’ll lead security design and governance for GCP projects—embedding best practices into infrastructure, automation, and DevSecOps processes while ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and implement secure-by-design GCP solutions
- Define IAM, identity federation, and access control strategies
- Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and compliance reviews
- Implement security automation and policy-as-code using Terraform and CI/CD tools
- Integrate logging, monitoring, and incident response frameworks (GCP Operations Suite, Cloud Logging, Security Command Center)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed DevSecOps practices
- Advise clients on data protection, compliance, and governance across cloud workloads
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of cloud experience with at least 1–2 years on GCP
- Proven experience with GCP security design, IAM, and secrets management
- Familiarity with GCP Security Command Center, Chronicle, and SCC integrations
- Strong understanding of network and data security fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, CI/CD, and automation
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO27001, SOC 2, etc.)
- Excellent communication and advisory skills with both technical and executive stakeholders
