As a Junior Azure Cloud and DevOps Engineer, you’ll gain hands-on experience working with our cloud engineering team to configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Microsoft 365 and Azure resources, while also supporting the deployment IaC solutions. This role is ideal for someone with foundational cloud experience who is eager to grow into advanced DevOps and IaC development skills.
You’ll collaborate closely with senior engineers, taking their designs and turning them into reliable, documented, production-ready outcomes for customers—while learning industry best practices along the way.
ResponsibilitiesCloud Operations (Azure & Microsoft 365)
- Assist in implementing and validating tenant configurations for services like Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams, and Defender.
- Support building and managing Azure resources (IaaS/PaaS), including networking, identity, security baselines, logging, and monitoring.
- Help troubleshoot incidents, service degradations, and perform post-change validation.
- Script basic automations using PowerShell and contribute to documentation and runbooks.
DevOps & IaC Support
- Assist in developing simple IaC deployments and workflows or integrations using Azure services.
- Work with modern app stacks such as Python or JavaScript/TypeScript for small projects and integration tasks.
- Learn to apply secure data access patterns, guardrails, and logging/monitoring for advanced features.
- Collaborate on solution packaging, deployment, and user/admin documentation.
- Work with senior engineers to improve templates, components, and reusable scripts.
Key Requirements
- Foundational hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Azure administration.
- Basic understanding of Azure networking, RBAC, and cloud monitoring tools.
- Competency with scripting or development experience in PowerShell plus at least one of Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Exposure to Azure services and REST-based APIs is a plus.
- Strong desire to learn cloud DevOps and automation best practices.
- Clear communication skills, including turning requirements into actionable steps.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience preferred.
