Join Rotair Aerospace Corporation as a Software Engineer !

Rotair Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in Bridgeport, CT. You will have opportunities to work with a variety of technologies, from the Python-based Django web framework to Microsoft's .NET framework.

This is a hybrid position.You will be required to work in our office in Bridgeport, Connecticut several days a week. Applications will only be accepted from candidates from the area or those who plan on moving to the area in the very near future.

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated individual to assist with various tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Familiar with Python OR .NET development, preferably both
• Familiar with the use of git source control
• Strong problem solving/analytical skills
• Ability to work both alone and with a team
• Ability to work alongside end users to tailor solutions to user needs

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

• Familiar with the Django Web Framework
• Familiar with Ruby on Rails
• Adept with HTML/CSS, JavaScript
• Willing to learn new languages, frameworks, etc. on-the-job

Skills and Attributes:

• Minimum of one year experience in a previous, comparable position or internship equivalent.

Requirements:

• Must be responsible and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
• Subject to pre-employment competency assessments, drug screening, and background checks.
• Must be local to Bridgeport, CT at the time of interview.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with overtime as needed

Compensation:

• Starting salary range: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour, and increases commensurate with experience.
